This was fun for my 8 year old. The instructions were simple to follow, he really enjoyed being able to make something for himself.The kit is set up nicely, and the products were good.

Similar to other Craftenly clay kit, this one is a well made and includes everything you need to create a clay based craft. The kit comes with good amount of air-dry clay, instructions, templates and accessories and they are simple enough for younger kinds to follow and keep occupied and entertained.The air drying clay is great as it prevents the need to have to bake it upon completing to make it set, which depending on the oven that you have can cause some unwanted burn marks and not to mention produces some quite horrible smell.

This kit is presented beautifully from its outer packaging to inside organisation. With all the crafting materials included alongside clear instructions, my 3.5 year old niece and I had a great time making the box together.This kit is indeed suited for older kids to enjoy independently.

I was really impressed by the contents of this ice cream octopus clay set. It has everything you will need for this craft activity including the pencil box, the set of clay and the clay tools. The instruction book is really clearly written with templates you can use to make each part of the octopus.This would make a fantastic gift or set to keep handy for an activity in the holidays.

What a neat crafting kit! My 12 & 5 year old granddaughters made the pen holder together and they had fun doing it. It’s got everything you need plus little projects. Just a great idea that I definitely recommend.

Beautifully presented

These craft kits are really nicely presented, very fit for gift giving to a crafty child. The owl option is a little more simple than some of the others, so I think the age rating is accurate. The instructions are really good too. My only note would be to say that the price point is high for this type of item given the inclusions; I think the reasoning behind that is the nice packaging and presentation. A good gift idea for the creative child.
