The instructions were clear and easy to follow, so my 9- and 8-year-olds were able to build the kit independently from start to finish. This was a very engaging activity for a 10 year old (and her Mum!). The main clay activity kept them both engaged for an hour or more, and the end result came out really well. There are a lot of secondary activities to tackle as well, so all in all, a well thought out gift.

What a neat crafting kit! My 12 & 5 year old granddaughters made the pen holder together and they had fun doing it. It’s got everything you need plus little projects. Just a great idea that I definitely recommend.

These craft kits are really nicely presented, very fit for gift giving to a crafty child. The owl option is a little more simple than some of the others, so I think the age rating is accurate. The instructions are really good too. My only note would be to say that the price point is high for this type of item given the inclusions; I think the reasoning behind that is the nice packaging and presentation. A good gift idea for the creative child.
